Chapter 10 Cowardly Ghost

Gu Yunjin didn't care about what Madam Min said. She just gave a faint glance at Old Master Xu.

Old Master Xu, playing with his jade finger, looked distressed and helpless.

Gu Yunjin sighed inwardly. If Madam Xu saw Old Master Xu like this, she would be heartbroken.

"Yesterday, my sister-in-law came and said that my wife has been ill these days. I'm going to go back and check on her today," Gu Yunjin said.

Xu Lingjie stared, speechless.

"How childish!" Gu Yunjin sneered, "I wouldn't use such a boring method to deal with you! You push me once, I'll push you back, it's meaningless, just child's play."

Xu Lingjie's breath hitched.

Although she was only a few months older than Gu Yunjin, she had always been the older sister in their relationship.

She taught Gu Yunjin manners and made her change her vulgar demeanor. Gu Yunjin used to be obedient, doing whatever Xu Lingjie said, which made Xu Lingjie very satisfied.

But now, Gu Yunjin actually called her "childish"? Said it was "child's play"?

Xu Lingjie felt a lump in her chest and gritted her teeth, "You're so rude now! Just showing off with your words!"

Sensing Xu Lingjie's body stiffening, Gu Yunjin let go of her.

Xu Lingjie's face turned pale, her voice trembling, "What are you talking about! I'm going back first!"
