Chapter 13 Escape

"That's it!"

Seeing the ground-splitting bear relentlessly chasing after him, Chu Tiannan sneered and swiftly used his agile figure to leap onto a tree, constantly maneuvering to escape.

Meanwhile, the ground-splitting bear continued to wreak havoc on the trees that Chu Tiannan passed, creating a chaotic scene.

"Why is this guy so fond of showing off?" With a giant sword in hand, Luo'er followed closely, her furrowed brows revealing her concern for Chu Tiannan's situation.

Unless he could completely shake off the ground-splitting bear, the outcome was uncertain.

Although she was somewhat dissatisfied with Chu Tiannan's recklessness, Luo'er couldn't help but feel a slight warmth in her heart, knowing his intentions.

"However, he's still too stubborn!" Keeping a close distance behind the ground-splitting bear, she was prepared to strike at any moment.

In the mountain forest, there were occasional violent tremors, and the seemingly sturdy trees in front of the ground-splitting bear were no match for its brute force. They were either broken by its savage charge or crushed under its weight.

As the ground-splitting bear continued its relentless pursuit, a dark figure agilely maneuvered between the trees ahead.

"Doesn't this beast ever get tired?" After fleeing for nearly an hour, Chu Tiannan felt his stamina depleted, and even his speed had slowed slightly.

"This can't go on!" Chu Tiannan looked at the denser forest ahead, a flash of inspiration in his mind, then sneered as he looked back.

"This is it!"

As the ground-splitting bear forcefully knocked down a larger tree, the surrounding smaller trees collapsed around it.

Hissing sounds filled the air as the ground-splitting bear, with its sharp claws and powerful paws, tore through the trees, displaying terrifying strength.

However, this delay made it realize that its target had disappeared. It couldn't help but roar in anger, the sound echoing through the surrounding mountains and forests for a long time.

In the quiet forest, the ground-splitting bear crushed a fragile tree with a terrifying sound, its fierce eyes scanning the surroundings.

Any slight movement would trigger its ferocious attacks.

As a beast-general-level monster, it was not lacking in intelligence. It knew that Chu Tiannan hadn't left the dense forest but was hiding somewhere. Its task was to search slowly and find the despicable human who could harm it.

"Don't run. Let's hide here. It's suicide to stay out there," Chu Tiannan said urgently, holding Luo'er in his arms in the narrow space on the reverse slope.

"Don't worry, just look carefully!" Chu Tiannan made a silent gesture and smiled. Before Luo'er could question him, she was astonished to see several silver figures quietly surrounding the ground-splitting bear, gradually closing in on it.
