Chapter 2 Escape
However, on the carved big bed next to the wooden barrel, a man was lazily half-leaning, wearing a wide-sleeved white silk robe, with his three thousand black hair half-tied behind, and a pair of sharp and icy eyes, now coldly gazing at the woman who suddenly appeared in the wooden barrel. His lips were slightly curved, with a smile that seemed to be mocking, like an icy abyss, easily drawing people in...
"Who allowed you to come in."
The man's voice was deep and low, as pleasant as a late-night radio host, flowing out slowly but with a chilling air.
Mei Kaishao didn't speak, only using her watery eyes to quietly look at the man. The man's face was half-covered by a silver mask, as if he intended to bathe, with his clothes half-open, but he didn't expect someone to occupy the wooden barrel.
A mint-like cool male scent came over, instantly dispelling the heat on Mei Kaishao's body.
The man suddenly raised his long sleeves, avoiding her touch, lifted the dripping Mei Kaishao out of the wooden barrel and threw her onto the bed, his eyes cold. "Woman, if you touch me again, I will chop off your hand!"
"Do you think I want to?" Mei Kaishao gasped, her delicate face turning pale with a hint of red, carrying a coldness that didn't match her age. "I was drugged and couldn't control myself. So, before I do anything to you, get out of here!"
The man looked at her coldly. Who dared to use the word "get out" to him?
"I'll give you one last chance, get out quickly. Otherwise, I can't guarantee what I will do!" His words were still icy and composed, which didn't match her young age.
The man's indifferent expression, with his hands half-circled, one eye not yet covered by the silver mask, was like an ink painting, emitting a faint brilliance, as if to suppress all the colors, making him extraordinarily handsome.
Mei Kaishao understood very well that this was no ordinary drug.
Her younger sister simply wanted her to die without a burial place!
Her memories were hazy, but she could vividly remember every scene.
If she continued to endure, her meridians would be in chaos.
Thinking of this, Mei Kaishao narrowed her eyes and bit down hard on the straight nose, throwing herself at him.
"What are you doing!" His voice was so cold that it was clearly displeased.
But then, there were sounds of heavy breathing.
Mei Kaishao's long hair was already soaked with sweat, unable to see clearly, only vaguely seeing a head of black hair swaying with the rocking of the bed, drawing a charming arc.
Seductively like a little wildcat.
The approaching footsteps made Mei Kaishao's confused eyes turn cold. She simply turned her hand into claws, firmly gripping the man's throat with one hand, pulling up the quilt with the other, and with a turn of her body, the silk cloth turned into a shawl, draping over her, the bright red satin making her look exceptionally beautiful.
The man didn't seem to be angry, half-supporting his face, now even more unrestrained. On his bronze chest, due to martial arts and tempering, there was not a trace of excess fat, the muscle lines were extremely elegant...
If she were sober, Mei Kaishao would never have provoked such a dangerous person.
It's not that she was afraid.
It's just that danger meant trouble.
