Chapter 5: Playing with the Butler

"Alright! I will do my best to help the young lady!"

The nanny looked at her and felt that the young lady was like a different person, but it was good in a way, so she wouldn't be bullied as before.

"I need loyal maids, not too many, just two will be enough! You go and pick them!" Lin Luochen made her request.

Chunyue and Xiaying also returned from outside. Following Lin Luochen's instructions, they took the drawings and went to find a carpenter's workshop to have the woodwork done for her.

She listened to their conversation and slowly smiled. It seemed that with these two maids, there would be no shortage of joy in her days.

However, as predicted by Xiaying, the An family mother and daughter soon found out about Lin Luochen's renovations in the house.

So, they sent the housekeeper over. This housekeeper was their confidante and had previously caused trouble for Lin Luochen.

Lin Luochen glanced at Chunyue and said, "It's just a servant causing a ruckus, get her out of here!"

The stewardess was furious, snatched the bamboo broom, and swung it towards Chunyue, "You little brat did it on purpose! I'll teach you a lesson!"

Chunyue didn't give her a chance, snatched the broom back, and fiercely swept, leaving her with another mouthful of dust.

"Oh my! Stewardess! Why are your feet so dirty? Oh my! These maids in the courtyard are so bold! They don't clean the floor properly. I'll teach them a lesson!"

Chunyue swept while circling around the stewardess, hitting her with the hard broom, making her scream.

The maids with her also tried to pull her away, but they were afraid of Chunyue hitting them, so they didn't dare to get too close.

When Xia Ying saw that it was almost enough, she pretended to rush over and scolded, "Chunyue! Why are you cleaning at this time? Go quickly and make medicine for the young lady! The young lady is so badly injured, if she is delayed in taking the medicine, can you bear the responsibility?"

Chunyue nodded quickly, blinked at Xia Ying, and ran off in a flash.
